BBSN – Basic Guidelines

1. Stay On Topic: Before posting, check if the topic already exists. Repeated threads create clutter.
2. Respect Privacy: Don’t share personal addresses, private info, or names from police scanner feeds. Keep license plates blurred unless they’re part of an official alert.
3. Be Civil: No personal attacks, harassment, hateful language (racism/homophobia), or bashing moderators/admins. If there’s a problem, message an admin.
4. No Excessive Swearing or Threats: Death threats or violent comments aren’t tolerated, even toward public figures.
5. Avoid Duplicate Posts & Excessive Bumping: Keep the conversation organized and relevant.
6. Serious Topics: If a major emergency or crisis is happening, admins may limit posting to keep info accurate and avoid chaos.
7. Minimal Advertising: Allowed only for certain fundraisers, charities, or approved events. Contact an admin if unsure.
8. No Doxxing or Defamation: Don’t post unverified claims or target businesses/employees without credible news sources.
9. Keep It Real: Fake or “puppet” accounts will be removed from all network groups.
